“My introduction
to the Ladies Professional Golf Association was
at the McDonald’s LPGA Championship in June
2004. I made more than 400 sketches and decided
that, if Rembrandt were alive today, this is where
he’d be.”
This page features recent drawings
from four LPGA tournaments in 2004. Over the coming
months, this site will display The Swing 100,
a suite of one hundred original drawings, in a
variety of media, depicting one hundred different
participants in LPGA tournaments. The drawings
will be shown a few at a time, as Frank illuminates
the grace, energy, and determination that put
these women at the top of their game.
