Dance Drawings

Here is a selection of drawings based on Frank’s visits to Donna Grim’s dance classes during the 2003 – 2004 season. Frank observed and sketched over thirty sessions of an advanced class at Dance Unlimited. “Ten high school kids, and when they came to class, it was with a sense of purpose and dedication that is truly inspirational."

The first drawings from this project were shown in a solo exhibition at Frederick’s Weinberg Center for the Arts in October 2004. More recent Dance Drawings were featured in Swing!, at Frederick Community College in April 2005.
